Artist 'Banksy' is releasing his first film, 'Exit Through The Gift Shop'. Unfortunately it isn't coming to Australia for a while, but if you happen to be in New York on Friday 16th of April you're in luck. Love his one sheet poster featured above.

//Toot!

Nice start to a Friday, just heard news that my 'Let's Talk campaign picked up a Silver for Best idea at the Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards. I wouldn't normally toot my own horn but it was one of only two in Australasia to pick up an award. Sweet!

All you need to do is go onto twitter and include the namethevirginf1car hashtag and tweet away. Winners will be a part of F1 history, good times.

//iPod wearing jogger killed by plane

Enjoying a nice moment to himself on this resort island, a man was jogging on the beach and listening to his iPod when he was struck from behind on Monday evening. Officials say the man neither saw nor heard the single-engine plane making an an emergency landing. Must of had his music up pretty loud.

//Google takes aim at Digg

In another bid to Google taking over the world, they have released a new service called Reader Play. It basically adds a bit of fun to RSS feeds by pulling in the most popular pictures and videos from across the web, and featuring them in a slideshow.

Currently the target audience is entertained by the likes of Digg, Fark, and Reddit, which regularly show the type of comedy videos and imagery to be shown on Reader Play.

New music video for OKgo, the makers of the famous treadmill video. Quote from fellow blogger, 'if they spent that much time on their music instead of their video, they would be amazing'.

//Old Skool

I was looking through some of my old files last night, and I found some stuff I made 9 years ago as a student. These few elements were part of my end of study elective which was an interactive catalogue for Sony.

I had to create everything from scratch in 6 weeks on an old G3 powermac. Check them out...

//ACMI Screen Worlds Exhibition

Went and checked out the new exhibition 'Screen Worlds' at ACMI on Sunday. It's amazing to see how we have progressed in technology and how it has contributed to film, television, and gaming.

It's fun for the whole family with interactive displays, rarely seen footage and fascinating objects unlike any other.

Highlight for me was the 'Matrix dome' where you can film a 3 second 360deg of yourself and friends doing a movement, which you can then email to yourself after. Check out mine below.
